There are people who touch our lives at certain parts of our journey that forever change our lives. Alex is one of those persons. While I was going through a crisis in my marriage of 26 years, she was a compassionate and honest coach who skillfully guided me through a very difficult time. She was there for me day or night and helped me make the right decisions for ME in ways that friends and family could not. In the end, I did not get a divorce and I am moving forward in my life and marriage with the strength and confidence to forge a healthier and more honest relationship with my husband and myself. I owe much of my personal growth to Alex and I will be forever grateful.
Alex is compassionate, kind, solid, and smart. Alex was a rock for me at a time when I felt like my whole world was shifting beneath me. With her calm and confidence I recognized that I'm going to be just fine... better than fine. Alex helped me plan out my next steps, which gave me the confidence to move forward. I'm starting my life 2.0, and she helped me see the many ways my new life will be... and already is... amazing!
I had paralyzing fear that had been trapping me in an unhealthy place, but after I met with Alex for a few sessions, I felt empowered by her support and resources. She established herself as a trustworthy cheerleader and friend that I could not have done this without. And she also equipped me to handle hiccups in the situation a lot better (that again might have paralyzed me before). My emotional mindset was so much better after talking with her. I knew very little going into this situation, what my options were. She helped educate me on my options. I cannot stress this enough - find a coach that you jive with! Alex was my soul sister! She was a rock in a time when my world was imploding. I cannot thank her enough. I recommend her very highly.
I highly recommend Alex’s services at any stage in the very tricky, and sometimes surreal feeling process of divorce and separation. She is so open, comforting, grounding and supportive and she knows what you’re going through having been on this road with herself and many others. Give yourself a break and get a little help. Alex can do that.
I highly recommend Alex Kapp as a divorce coach. She’s an incredibly intelligent and sensitive person who is able to listen to anything you have to say without judgment. These qualities come together and allow a person to feel their feelings, cry their tears, be heard and feel validated. I would say the most valuable thing that Alex did for me was to show me my existing strengths and power. Whatever painful feeling I was having or whatever horrible situation was coming up that I had to get through she help me look deep within and find my own resources for calm; find existing tools in the toolbox to get through tough situations. Events like birthdays, holidays, and soccer games are really hard and you know you will be triggered. Alex helped me learn how to dig deep and find the tools I would need to be emotionally prepared and empowered in some of the most frightening times of my life.
